I am a teaching-track Assistant Professor of French and the Director of the French Basic Language Program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on the teaching and learning of foreign languages, French in particular, in higher education. I study how learners and teachers think about form-meaning pairings while using or teaching their second language. I do a lot of thinking about thinking!

Check out my Teaching Resources page. There, you will find links to resources for teaching French and links to more general resources regarding teaching in higher education.
